Vladimer Kakhadze Holding Verbal Hearing within Thematic Inquiry

The Education and Science Committee is currently conducting a thematic survey on the implementation of sanitary and hygienic norms and those of school doctors, along with addressing the existing challenges in educational institutions. As part of this initiative, Vladimer Kakhadze, the key speaker for the thematic inquiry, conducted a verbal hearing today.

The meeting primarily focused on matters related to sanitary and hygienic conditions within schools.

"Scientists from leading institutions are involved in the research process. Today, a representative of the international organization UNICEF also joined this group. At the meeting, we elaborated on improving the sanitary-hygienic situation in the school and raising the awareness of students in this direction. As you know, new schools are being built and existing schools are being modernized in accordance with international standards. Our goal is for the research group to create a package of recommendations by the end of the year, which will contribute to system renewal”, - Vladimer Kakhadze stated.

The following participated in the meeting: UNICEF representative Nana Fruidze, Revaz Kobakhidze, Director of Natadze Scientific-Research Institute of Sanitation, Hygiene and Medical Ecology, and Ketevan Dadiani, Deputy Director.
