Genadi Margvelashvili: it is essential to ensure early detection of the talents in the direction of sports, arts, technologies and management

“Share success stories and create own success formula” – the new project “Author Hour” to be launched in the educational institutions of Tbilisi.

The Chair of the Education, Science and Culture Committee, Genadi Margvelashvili attended the presentation of the project in Tbilisi City Assembly and delivered the speech. The project envisages the meetings in schools with the pupils and the representatives of the creative sphere to exchange experience and success stories, copyright state and its legal importance in Georgia and analyzing the master-classes and seminars on certain cases, stories, and experience.

Genadi Margvelashvili: “We need to establish the national education plan for this type of activity under the new school model to encourage the children to be creative. The new school pilot model has already been established in Schools N150 and 165, though there are 2083 schools in total and this model shall apply all of them. Hence, it requires the human resources who, according to their talents, are the high professionals. The Parliament needs to adopt the law envisaging the School director to invite the teachers not engaged in the scheme. It is essential to ensure early detection of the talents in the direction of sports, arts, technologies and management and we believe that the 4-6th grade pupils need no tests and exams but the developing estimation to facilitate detection of the talents and realization of their talents in all directions. Naturally, the role of the pedagogue in this process is essential”.
